These pencils were the first use of round shape. They were manufactured in Harvard Mass. By the Ball paper company, between 1820 and 1850. They are wrapped in the original paper and thread. They were discovered in the attic of an old school house in PA. Very few of these packs exist and are held in private collection or can be viewed at Harvard Mass historical society.
