We are Re-enactors representing the Eleventh Pennsylvania Reserve Volunteers Company H in Southwestern Pennsylvania. We are also known as the Fortieth Pennsylvania Volunteers Company H. We are a good group of Men and Woman who pursue the hobby of reenacting for recreation and education. Many misconceptions of the American Civil War exist in the public mind of a tremulous time in our history. Some aspire it to a single page in classroom textbooks. We and others like us work to preserve the valor, dedication, sacrifice and memories of so many, of a time when honor meant duty and duty meant sacrifice.
